Boat
In the picture above the children are playing in our tug boat. They really enjoy pretending to steer the boat. We also provide toy fishing poles, plastic fish, tackle boxes and fishing hats to use as props when playing with the boat.
Fire Truck In the above picture you can see our "Fire Truck". The children like to bring out our fire fighter hats from our dress up area when playing on the fire truck.
Tent
In the above picture the chidren are playing on our deck. They have placed the tunnel that we have in front of the tent. They are having a great time climbing through the tunnel to get into the tent.
Swing We have one toddler swing, which is pictured above, inside our fenced in play area. We also have another fenced in play area for the older children to use, which has a small swing set with two sings, a teeter totter, and a slide.
Sand Area
In the above picture you can see our sand area. We have a small play house, dishes, kitchen set, plastic tables and small cars in this outside play area for the children to use.
More Sand Play The children "love" playing in the sand. Just give them some sturdy plastic dishes and spoons to fill and dump the sand, and watch the fun begin.
Doll Carridge
The children like to "imitate" what they see throughout the day. They like pretending to be "mommy" and push the babies in the doll carriages. We also have other push toys such as toy lawn mowers and grocery carts, plus we have pull toys and ride on toys in our outside play area.
Teeter Totter This is our smaller teeter totter for the younger children to use we also have two larger teeter totters for the older children to use.
Calendar We start our morning program with circle time. During circle time we discuss with the children the weather outside, what day it is, and go over that day's theme. We start with the weather chart and then move onto the calendar. After the children place the date on the calendar, we sing the 7 days of the week song and then we start our morning circle time activity.
